All good things must come to an end so they say......Well for me it is true I unfortunately will be losing one of the most fun jobs I have ever had. Not often do you enjoy your job and all the people you work with no I'm not lying we all get along like family. I work for a "certain movie store"that I am not allowed to mention and I loved it. Sadly due to the digital age making us obsolete we will be closing our doors. But if any of you have seen Empire Records it was exactly like that. People came in early just to hang out before there shift. Regular customers would come in just to debate movies with us for hours. Each employee had the own shelf with there top 5 movies and how that would create a little healthy competition as to who's picks rented the most. We wouldtake pictures and try to recreate movie covers when it got dead in the store and we had nothing to do. Needless to say we are depressed to see an end of a era. Now we are forced to grow up and get big people jobs that will most likely suck the life and fun out of us....But we will always remember the good times we had when work was not a four letter curse word and we were paid to hangout and talk about movies all day.
